PALM ISLAND
Jessica Jaegger was tapped to reimagine a modern Palm Island residence for an international couple who sought a home that reflected their cultural sensibilities. The home's original design had a glossy, ultra-modern Miami Beach aesthetic that didn’t quite match the couple’s evolving vision.
Jaegger and her team embarked on a thoughtful redesign of the home, shifting the interiors toward a more soulful, Brazilian "bossa" style—warm, effortless, and refined, true to Jaegger’s signature aesthetic. Her scope included custom carpentry, new furnishings, updated lighting, and soft elements like drapery to bring in layers through textile. The transformation centered around the living room and dining room, where Jaegger redesigned the main fireplace to introduce natural textures and a more grounded material palette. She replaced high-gloss finishes with rich woods, organic textiles, and curated Brazilian influences, creating a home that feels more organic, intentional and with a relaxed ease.
